Pre-Workout and Energy in Rogers AR

Pre-Workout and Energy in Rogers AR

Chiropractic Rogers AR Energy

At some point, we all wonder what pre-workout supplement in Rogers AR we should be taking. And chances are if you are like me, you probably have tried several different ones. Some that work and some that don’t. Some that taste horrid and some that you probably wouldn’t mind consuming anytime. Well, my next statement is going to come as a real shocker (insert sarcasm)…pre-workouts are not all created equal.

Let’s get down to business…

If you know me then you know some of the big things that I believe we should all stay away from. Nonetheless, I’ll go the general no-no’s. First up, artificial sweeteners, it doesn’t matter if it is sucralose or aspartame they are both not good for our bodies as they are neurotoxic (kill brain cells) and they both also can damage our intestinal lining, which then ultimately causes systemic inflammation. Sugar is also not advised as it too is very toxic for our bodies and also sparks inflammation, can make our bodies insulin resistant, and fuels cancer. Next up is artificial colors; again these are extremely toxic man-made products that we shouldn’t be consuming. They have been linked to a plethora of disorders including autism and cancer. Outside of these things you also wouldn’t want a pre-workout formula (or anytime for that matter) that had soy in it either. The reason for this is just like grains and dairy (with the exception of non-denatured whey) when you consume these things, you ultimately damage your gut lining which allows for widespread or systemic inflammation. The reason chronic, systemic inflammation is not a good thing is because this is what sparks most all pathological processes.

Nitric Balance In Rogers AR

So, what do I use and recommend? It is a liquid blend called Nitric Balance. Not only does it provide you with more energy and stamina to get you through your workout but it goes far beyond that and is excellent for many aspects of your overall health. Some of the other benefits include:

  • Nutritional support for tissue health and anti-inflammatory mechanisms.
  •  Healthy peripheral blood flow to the brain, hands, feet, and sex organs.
  • Brain endurance, function, and focus.
  • Healthy immune response.
  • And of course metabolic endurance for exercise and rehab.

I know it sounds too good to be true, so now I’ll walk you through how it works. First, let’s start off by talking about a substance called nitric oxide. This is the substance that most pre-workouts are trying to target and get ramped up by having a large dosage of L-arginine. The problem is that L-arginine up-regulates the production of all three nitric oxide enzymes, and only two of those three are beneficial in the long run.

The three nitric oxide synthases (enzymes) are:

  1. Neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS)
  2. Inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS)
  3. Endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS)

nNOS is used to optimize neuronal function at the synapses. iNOS activity promotes inflammation and produces harmful free radical actions, which causes tissue destruction, autoimmune responses, and more inflammation. Finally, eNOS activity causes your blood vessels to dilate, glucose uptake, and the activation of muscle mitochondria energy utilization to help in cell function and recovery. Basically, nNOS and eNOS have actions that support recovery and healing while iNOS promotes tissue destruction, inflammation, and autoimmunity.

So now you can see why up regulating all (which L-arginine does) is not desirable. This is where Nitric Balance comes in. It is comprised of a 7-ingredient proprietary blend that all suppress iNOS (bad) and promote both nNOS and eNOS activity (good.)

It is best used by taking 1-2 teaspoons upon rising then another 2-3 teaspoons about 10 minutes before your workout. The beautiful thing about this supplement is not only will your workout be better but your body overall will be working more efficiently.
